Clinical Research Practitioner Verifier Training

Thank you to all who responded. We have received a significant number of expressions of interest so we are closing the survey for the time being.

As the Clinical Research Practitioner Register continues to grow, we need to recruit more verifiers and ensure the CRP Register Quality Assurance Process is robust.

The Academy will be holding the below training dates to become a verifier:  

1. Experienced Practitioner Gateway: Monday 12th August 11 – 12pm
2. Clinical Research Practitioner Register verifier: Thursday 15th August: 11 – 12pm.

The criteria to become a verifier is as follows:

1. Holds the relevant professional knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to verify the evidence submitted
2. Demonstrate active support and understanding for the professional development of the CRP community and the value of accredited registration
3. Normally hold current registration on a statutory register or the CRP accredited register
4. Be willing to discuss applications with peers and moderators
5. Agree to identify conflict of interests
6. Agree to work to the Academy’s Code of Conduct for CRP Register verifiers
7. Be willing to undertake NIHR/AHCS verifier training and have the time and support to complete agreed activities and contribute to review and evaluation activity
8. Be willing to work within the AHCS operational policies and procedures applicable to the role
