Finance, Audit & People Committee

The Finance, Audit & People Committee (FAPC), chaired by Geoff Lester, Non-Executive Director, is responsible for the scrutiny and review of Corporate Governance arrangements within the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS).

FAPC also monitors the performance of the Academy; measures departments’ success with service delivery and financial targets, is also responsible for investigating Academy decisions that have been called into question and provides leadership, assurance and oversight to Organisational Policy Issues impacting Staff, NEDs and Registrants.

FAPC also has various audit and risk function responsibilities, as well as scrutinising policy decisions, service delivery and monitoring spending levels.
