AHCS Chair
With thirty years of Board experience across the commercial, third and public sectors, alongside his role as Chair of the Academy, Dean is also the Chair of HINENC, (the Health Innovation Network covering the North East and North Cumbria area) and sits on the National Health Innovation Network steering group. He is also Vice Chair of NSmart Solutions, a Non-Executive Director of Blüm Technology Group and chairs the East Midlands Defence, Health and Life Science Special Interest Group
An Honorary Professor of Healthcare Leadership at the University of Nottingham Business School, and a Visiting Professor of Organisational Resilience at the University of Lincoln, Dean also sits on the Advisory Boards of Liverpool Hope University Business School, Loughborough University School of Social Science and Humanities, and the University of Delhi’s Centre for Innovation and Social Enterprise.
