Dr Joy Tweed appointed Vice-Chair of the AHCS

Dr Joy Tweed has been appointed Vice-Chair of the AHCS.  Joy has been a director of AHCS since 2022, previous to which she was a director at RCCP. She has had a longstanding interest in professional regulation and has been Chair of the Regulation Board since 2023.

Joy commented, ‘I am delighted to have been appointed Vice-Chair of AHCS and look forward to working closely with Dean, as Chair. As a board, we’re working on our strategic plan and I’m excited at the opportunities to promote and advance healthcare science, for the benefit of not only healthcare scientists but also most importantly for patients, and ensuring the highest standards and quality of care.’
