National Review of Consultant Biomedical Scientist Career Pathways
North West London Pathology has been awarded an Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) Research Grant to undertake a national review of Consultant Biomedical Scientist career pathways across pathology disciplines.
They are seeking views from professionals working across pathology, including Biomedical Scientists, Clinical Scientists, Consultant Biomedical Scientists, researchers, managers, educators and workforce leads, to better understand:
- Current Consultant Biomedical Scientist roles and career pathways
- Barriers and enablers to career progression
- Workforce development needs across pathology
- Priorities for future Consultant Biomedical Scientist career pathway development
Whether or not your organisation currently has Consultant Biomedical Scientist roles, your experience and perspectives will contribute to a national evidence base and inform recommendations to the IBMS on future Consultant Biomedical Scientist career pathway development.
